Hello! If I create a simple MessageBox (after releasing the DirectX-stuff) my Window is still visible (a blank area, where the screen is not updated). How can I avoid this? It would be much nicer, then . THNX!

Is this a full screen app or a window?

You probably set the window to "visible" when you started your code. Just change it so it''s not visible.

Yes, it is a fullscreen app. How can I hide the Window (and tell Windows to update the black area)?

Have you tried ShowWindow(HWND, int)?

It could just simply be a driver problem. How many computers have you tested it on?

if i''m following right..
just destroy your main window and create the message box with the hwnd parameter (the owner window) set to NULL.
