I''m new to C++, been doing a lot of website programming in VBScript and java-script plus HTML of course. I am trying to learn how to make MODS for some of the games that my gaming group participates in such as the MS Combat Flight Sim series. I know that I can''t start off with anything too advanced, altering graphics, etc... but I do want to try something simple but useful. My first project is to make a program that works of of DPLaunch from the MSDN Library that would put everyone in the game in the exact same plane set, preferrably the host''s planes. What I mean is if the host has plane X, then everyone gets plane X from his folder instead of their own. If they choose a different one then they get that plane from the host as well. In theory this will make everyone honest in the game unless the host is cheating, but then everyone else would be cheating the same way so it''s still a fair game. Anyone have any suggestions on how I could go about this, or if it''s even possible?

I don''t know anything about the MS FS mods, but I can''t see why it shouldn''t be possible - HalfLife did something similar (at least transmiting) with Maps & Models during network games
