I am looking forward to episode 2.
but i heard that the mushy love story between anakin and his chicky (amidala) might spoil the fun for hardcore fans.
i myself cant wait for episode. i have already dusted of my cape and light saber ready for movie...
{ Stating the obvious never helped any situation !! }

Starwars sucks! I saw Episode 1 when it came on TV, like I would pay money to go see that I''ll end up doing the same for this one as well... Im just waiting for Spiderman!

Some notes, I didn''t give the Graphic Novel(pick one up at your local Hastings(If you''re in the western half of the country) or other major book retailer) thorough read-through. But it might look like that''s not Amidala but instead Padme(Amidala ''dies'' in the opening scene, but, I wouldn''t discout Lucas doing the obvious and making her come back). Also, we get to see Anakin lose a hand/arm(still not sure, stupid comic book format), Yoda saber-dueling, hundreds of Jedi fighting thousands of battle droids, but, alas, no major clone wars per se, looks like just as the movie ends, we get a shot of thousand upon thousands upon thousands of clones loading up to go to war.

Is it me or is this guy a complete baby. First star wars in not in the future nor has Lucas film ever said it was in the future.
In fact when the dialog opens up in the begginning of the show its says in 'a galaxy far away...' not its star date 2343AD. And why does everybody think when movies are base in space they are all in the future and everything is going to be like star trek.
Don't get me wrong I like both shows, but there no comparison its two different shows. Otherwise it would be call 'Star Trek: attack of the clones'. Is that really the problem of Star War show? Or is just because it not star trek he/she is going to get all freak out about it. Na, that just stupid and my opinion that guy who's talking shit is just a moron.
Also lets not forget that these new storylines have to stay in line with the original Star Wars triology and yes that's mean a love story between anikan and the girl. Otherwise how would Luke Skywalker every exist? So boo hoo.
Who cares if you don't think if it doesn't live up to the hype, go see spiderman. I'm going to see Star Wars just to further my understanding original Star Wars trilogy.

What kind of a name is "Attack of the Clones"?
A stupid one.
He must have lost some inspiration for these names, I agree. "The Phantom Menace" is just lame. There is no phantom in the movie.
Basically, Lucas was never the best movie maker-- American Graffiti just plain sucked. He made some movie before that, called "THX..."-something, and I heard it was very stupid.
But I do like Raiders of the Lost Ark and 2 of the Star Wars movies-- Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. The only good part in Phantom Menace was the big fight scene.
If I recall correctly, "Attack of the Clones" is Lucas'' bold attempt to bring the epic feeling of the old early-cinema sci-fi flicks back into modern movies. Blah.

At first I also thought that it was the most stupid name for a movie. But somehow I now feel that it could really give the movie a early-movie scifi feeling.
Maybe a good move by Lucas.
I watched Episode I a minute ago. It''s not that bad (if you try to ignore Jar-jar). But it''s really nothing compared to the old classics.
