Let''s get to the point, shall we? The current matter at hand is not whether we will be BIG, but in the fact that we need programmers who are skilled in their craft and are ready to completely change this industry as we know it. Maybe I wasn''t too clear about my intentions but so far all those that have replied negatively only prove my point. As stated before, we would like those who ARE interested and not judgemental to remember that we are in current financial negotiations and the real point to all of this in the first place is to finally live the dream of creating games for a living, not judging whether a person has bad grammar, has a hotmail address or even whether they are a "newbie" or not. Surely there must be those who understand everything that I am saying and will completely stick to the point rather than pointing out insignificant, anal-retnesive details. This is exactly why we say "you all are only making it that much easier"!!! Again, programmers wanted..... -Kahleem

It appears to me you and your friend have started five seperate threads on this topic in a three day period. None of which look promising from your perspective, best I can place myself from your vantage point.

Idea.

Maybe your approach is wrong? I don''t know your capabilities from the next guy, keep this in mind. ( It works both ways. ) What criteria is placed on whether or not you accept a programmer? What criterion have you given to a prospecitve programmer in order for her/him to consider joing you? Etc, etc, etc.

"Current financial negotiations" is kind of vague. Well, actually it is vague.
Parents are going to buy a new computer for you?
Pay day is comming up after working part time at the local fast food chain, and you''ve been saving up?
A large corporate conglomerate is going to give you finacial backing to start up an operation under their umbrella? ( This I believe would contradict where you have been comming from, as they will actually call the shots )
Etc, etc, etc.

Anyways, I''m not flaming, slamming, or trying to demean you in any way. I''m actually trying to help you out, since you and your friend do seem pretty determined to pool resources here at gamedev.

I am currently seeking to team up with some other developers for the sole purpose of making some games. No grandios dreams of becomming rich, reshaping the world, or figuring out how my impact on the gamming industry is going to reshape the stock market and its affect on third world countries. I just want to do what I like doing, and hopefully put a few smiles on someone''s face when it''s all said and done.

Now you know where I am comming from, you feel free to fire back a response and let me know where you are comming from in a similar fashion. I am ALMOST positive you will get a better response and hopefully acheive what you are after.
