The American Movie Institute has their list and I have mine: 1. Good Morning Vietnam 2. One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest 3. The Great Escape 4. Star Wars series (except 1, blah!) 5. My Cousin Vinny 6. Marx Bros: Animal Cracker (absolutely hilarious) 7. Tin Men 8. Monty Python: the Holy Grail 9. Rolling Stone: 20 Years of Rock&Roll 10. American Grafitti -Maybe GMV should be switched with 2,3,or4, but its pretty darn good. Robin Williams does unscripted comedy at its best, and it actually has a pretty good story line, unlike some of his movies. Theres love, action, comedy, drama - its got it all.

Hehe, I doubt many people would agree with my Top 10

1) Jane Eyre
2) Star Wars: The return of the Jedi
3) Monthy Python: the search for the holy grail
4) ...

Euhm... okay, I''ll expand the list when I think of more...

Highlander!

The first one! Never watched a movie as many times as I watched that one. Like 30-40 times over the years.

Monty Python''s Life of Brian
Rio Bravo
The Man Who Would Be King
The Big Sleep
The Godfather
Pulp Fiction
Patton
Seven Samauri
Animal Crackers

These are the best movies that I''ve seen. I''m not a huge movie buff and haven''t seen as many movies as most people, so I''m not going to suggest that these are the top movies of all time, but they stand head and shoulders above the average Hollywood crapfest. (I still haven''t seen classics like Gone With the Wind and Apocalypse Now)

Over the last century or so (give or take a few years, who bothers) I've only encountered TWO (yes, that's 2) movies that I really like, so to pick ten for me is kinda hard..

1. Blues Brothers (The original with John Belushi!)
2. Apocalypse now

Actually, that was Robert Duvall''s line. Apocalypse Now! is a great movie - I wanted to put it in my list but didn''t since other''s had already mentioned it.
