visual c++ vs c++

hello im thanking of buying visual C++ and i wanted to know some stuff whats the diff betwen visual C++ and reguler C++? can you make any type of game or app you want with visual C++ or just stuff to do with the internet? can you put in code if you want or do you have to use the gui? witch is better? witch is esyer to lern? witch one sould i get? thanks for the help sevenup
some answers:

visual c++ can compile all c++ programs which go by the ANSI standard. However, it also comes with added extras to make it easier to program in Windows. eg. MFC

Really, Visual C++ is just a compiler for C++ and will let you compile any C++ program you write.
