Does anyone have any knowledge of this school? It claims to give graduates the knowledge necessary to immediately start working in the game development industry after completion of the Associates'' program. Has anyone here graduated from or know someone who graduated from Full Sail? If you have any information, please reply, because I am considering it as a viable option for school. I have read the post here under beginners, but i was looking for what the actual develpment and gaming communitiee new of Full Sail? Thanks, Guise

Hi I am currently attending Full Sail. I believe it is the best place to get a formal degree in programming if you want to specialize in games. I am currently in my 7th or 8th month. I didn''t really know anything about programming when I started and I am now learning more then I would have thought possible.

Just as a general rule ask for placement statistics. Since they make specific claims about the gaming industry ask for specific statistics on placement within the gaming industry. I wouldn''t expect it to be high since everyone wants to be a game programmer and few people actually get to be. Personally I would say if they can place 10% that you would be increasing your chances considerably. You also want to look at the overall placement rate. Nothing wrong with having your head in the clouds as long as your feet are planted firmly on the ground. Pursue the dream since it isn''t going to just fall in your lap, but have a contingency plan.
