What structure do you want to know about? The Models or the Level or something else?

for the Levelstuff: do a search on loading Quake3 BSP maps...

for the Models: search for MD3 model format..

ok,
hope that helped at least a bit

I''ve recently been writing a quake 3 type engine myself. I''ve come across a few resources that were VERY useful.

This is a nice spec for the file format:

http://graphics.stanford.edu/~kekoa/q3/

This site has 3 tutorials + code on quake 3 bsp files:

www.gametutorials.com

Good luck!
That's just my understanding; I could be wrong.
