He said he was starting a gaming studio . I would guess that means the type of game/technology would be decided by whoever shows up for it.

Maybe a more appropriate question would be "What possible types of games might you want to work on?" (Genre, settings, development methods, etc) Obviously cookie''s going to be in the group, so he has to have some type of preferences/skills/etc.
