This goes out to anyone who wants to read it: I am from Bridgeport, West Virginia and a friend of mine invented a game called Deathball. In a nutshell, the game is a mixture of Football, Basketball, and Wrestling. It is a really great game, but hardly anyone knows about it. You may look at the website at http://ndbldeathball.tripod.com Here is my plea: We need someone to write a computer game for us. It doesn''t even need to be great graphics. Maybe like some of the Sports games for the SNES. No one in our area knows how to program like that. However here is the problem, and )i hope not) the turn-off. We are begging and hoping against hope that you''ll be able to do this free of charge. We understand that is a lot to ask, but you may put as many advertisements for yourself as you want, we''ll give you full credit on the website, and if it is worthy to be sold, you will get at least 100% of the profit (after production costs). If you agree to this, please e-mail me (Nathan Broslawsky) at broz2004@aol.com and i will talk to you and work out an agreement on how to get you a video of us playing the sport so you can map the computer game around it. I will also send some screenshots of what i hope the game to look like. I really appreciate it. My team and I will be glad to assist you in any way. snes level games take many people, not one. I dont think there is much of a video game in your "game".

lucin: That was unecessarily harsh.

Broz: First, this should be in "help wanted" section.

Your website doesn''t seem to be too informative (all I could find was an ''under construction'' page). That would help a lot in trying to get a handle on what the game should be like.

It might have some interesting elements to it that could work as a video game, but it''s impossible to tell right now.

Feel free to email me (check profile). I probably don''t have the time to run such a project solo, but might be willing to assist.

Perhaps you could clarify? You and your friend have invented a new sport and you want someone to make it into a computer game for you? If that is the case what rights/royalities will this individual have on the program? What kind of payments will they recieve if you ever decide to sell it?

mm, well... I can''t personally help you, but I have some info you might be able to use.

I haven''t checked out your website yet, so I don''t know much about the intensity of your game, HOWEVER! There is this simple BASIC language called DarkBasic. It''s fairly simple to learn, and very powerful for the right things. My advice is perhaps to learn this simple language and make your game using this. Give it a look at: http://www.darkbasic.com (saw that one comming, right? )

Hope that helps,

Thank you, but i really don''t have the time to learn a new language (esp. since i don''t program). I thought I''d come to the people who knew what they were doing
