To whom it may concern, I''m a experienced Team Lead, Programmer, Software Engineer and Analyst. I''ve worked on the full life cycle development for many applications. Now, most of the ppl that post here (no offense) are posting with this statement, "I have a cool idea for a game, need programmers artists". Thats not gonna work. Anytime you build an application you need to design it first before any code is laid down (you don''t just "wing it" and hope that at the end when all the pieces come together it will just fit). Thats why I have yet to join any projects posted on this board (mainly because they won''t make past a month or two). I''m willing to work on open freelance stuff, but I want to know someone competent is running the show. I could do it or someone with more management experience can do it too. I just wanna get my name on stuff as I''m sure some programmers here do too. Well, I''m done ranting. If you feel the way I do E-mail me and we''ll see what we can get put together. Hopefully some good comes of this post. I know a lot of you feel the same way I do. -Stykes

What kind of game? How much experience is experienced? What API? 2D or 3D?
I tried to code, but the compiler kept giving me an error: stupid coder alert.hpotter2

Stykes you sound pretty cool. And you are so right i have started so many games but never made it very far becasue of poor design so this time i decided to do my homework first and make a design document. Please tell me what you think of my idea it is a side scroller (cause i can''t do 3D!) mario type game called Harry Larry (I think?) where you play larry a guy who got lost in the woods and needs a haircut bad (he''s got hair down to his feet) any way you pick up shampoo and what not and there will be hunters in the woods that shout hey it''s big foot! at you. anyway what do you think?
