I have WinMe and am getting all kinds of .dll errors and stuff and when I reinstall Me it still has the errors. I was wondering why this is and if I get Xp and install it, it shouldn''t have these errors should it?

Make sure you''re formatting your harddrive before reinstalling WinME, otherwise you''re just wasting your time.

Dude, just go buy a new computer from GateWay with WinME and AOL preloaded on it

Yeah, we should all run out and just buy a new computer every time we have an OS problem.

I define WinME as a problem, XP will probably treat you better

lmao. Gateway is suck. Dont listen to Pouya. Get a Compaq. You may have to ask them to preload AOL though, I don''t know if they include it normally.

Build your own computer, or get it custom built by a reliable dealer.

And with Win2K and WinXP out, don''t ever touch the old DOS kernel based operating systems again in your life. Even if you don''t like XP, go out and get 2000 NOW!!!!

BTW, this invaluable piece of advice costs you a GeForce 4 Ti with everything on it. Sorry, but tech support IS expensive.

WinME and dll errors, what a surprise

WinME is the worse OS ever made by Microsoft.

Win2K is the best they ever made.

You''re getting those errors because Windows Me must be installed on a properly warmed up hard disk. Take off your cover, remove the hard drive, and microwave on high for 8 1/2 to 10 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Remove with towel (it''s gonna be warm) and return it to your pc. Reinstall winMe, and you''ll be good to go.
