I''m using the Common FrameWork to develop a D3D Window Application. Everything is fine until i try to load an icon into the sysytem bar(the top left hand corner of the window). I''m using the directx.ico to be my icon and I found that only the ID value of 101 can be successfully loaded whereas the others will fail, i have look through all the Direct3D source supply with the SDK and found out that they are using 101 as well. So my question: is it by using the Common FrameWork, the default ID for Icon is 101?
Nothing to do, try complimenting someone, it will make you feel better!

If you''ve used AppWizard to create your project, CD3DApplication::Create uses a hardcoded constant IDI_MAIN_ICON which is defined in resource.h to 101. You can redefine it to another value, and Create will use a different icon. Alternatively, you can change Crate function code to use a different constant or possibly a member variable.
---visit #directxdev on afternet <- not just for directx, despite the name
