Well, this is a bit of an offtopic question. What is the difference between an article and a tutorial? Is it in code/algorithm complexity, length, amount of work left as an exercise to the reader, amount of code posted, or something else? Is one a subset of another, or are they purely separate? Is the division subjective, or are there established rules of some sort? I think an article talks more in abstract terms while a tutorial presents more of a guide to follow. But I would like to hear others'' opinion, which is why I''m posting this.

When I think of an article, I think of a paper that deals with a problem more with theory and with generalizations. A tutorial is more concrete and specific to a certain, smaller, topic.

An article discusses something, a tutorial teaches you how to do it.
I like them put together
