QBasic Game Programmers??
I used to do this.
I made small 2D games with QBasic (little spaceship things and even a 3d raytracer) on my old 386.
QBasic is very fun and easy to use, QBasic one of the better Mircosoft programs. You literally have a working program with only one line. I made a screensaver with a cool morphing shape in 5 lines. I compiled my stuff with FirstBasic, but I typed and tested everything with QBasic because FirstBasic''s IDE didn''t support the mouse, and FirstBasic didn''t support Screen 13, too bad. Maybe the only thing wrong is you can get some bad behaviours later in relation to OOP.

Cool! Could you tell me where I might find some information on making 2D games in QBasic?
www.qbasic.com is the most famous qbasic site I think. The webmaster left it, but the forum is still very active and full of people who can help! It also has a lot of source code and examples to look at.

darkness ethereal is one of the best known RPG makers in QBasic, but their website doesn''t work anymore (it used to be www.geocities.com/timessquare/ring/1683, I think, and then they moved it to darknessethereal.com . . . I don''t even know if they still exist.)
qb45.com used to have a huge archive of Qbasic games . . . I don''t know if it''s still there. A LOT of them still had sources.
