meticula

David Lowe aka meticula, is a British/American composer & musician. He first got started in music after learning the violin at the age of 9 then guitar when he was 13. The bass guitar & drums followed allowing him to be in several bands. He studied film at university due to his love of movies and especially film soundtracks.

David discovered Ableton & began to compose electronic music under the monikers LUCKYKAT & Katnap. These 2 projects elevated his status as an electronic music producer but with his love of movies & video games, he was compelled to release music under a new artist name: 'meticula'.

His music embraces chiptune & 8-bit video games (Shovel Knight, Plants vs Zombies, Undertale) & the best movie soundtracks that feature electronic music (It Follows, The Substance, American Sweatshop). The key to his sound is emotion driven music that takes a movie or video game & enhances it to another level.
