Celebrate Delta Force’s 2nd Anniversary With New Ways to Play, Exclusive Rewards, and More
XBox Wire says Delta Force’s Season Reorientation is live on Xbox Series X|S, kicking off the game’s second-anniversary celebration on September 26. The season is built around two years of player feedback, with the team aiming to cut down on the busywork around each match and make it easier for new and returning players to get into the game.
On the systems side, Operations now supports cross-region matchmaking, while a one-click loadout feature can pull from the player’s stash and auto-buy missing gear. A new Combat Support Fund can cover part of the cost when Tekniq Alloy runs short, and the tutorial plus in-game Field Manual have been reworked to better onboard players without forcing them out to external guides.
The content update also leans into pacing. Layali Grove 2.0 adds more exploration, fishing, and map-specific progression, while Polaris Patrol returns as a reworked boss-style encounter with improved balance and new rewards. Rover and Clover add more squad utility, and The Mog brings Warfare a convoy escort mode inspired by Black Hawk Down, with vehicle repairs and helicopter roles layered into the fight.
The anniversary event itself offers up to 3,900 limited-time Delta Tickets, plus new cosmetics and collectibles. Competitive play is also getting a push, with RISE Series Season 2 underway and the Delta Force Invitational set for DreamHack Stockholm.
