A new shape representation claims you can fit 2D and 3D geometry with far fewer parameters than common alternatives, while still approximating arbitrary shapes to arbitrary precision. For graphics and tools teams, the interesting part is the combination of compactness, inside-outside queries, and a gradient-based fitting pipeline that prunes itself as it converges. If it holds up, it could be useful for reconstruction, procedural generation, and learned asset pipelines.
