Vampire Survivors' Poncle is expanding into Japan

Poncle is setting up a Japan studio with Crim boss Sawaki Takeyasu, which is a notable move for a hit indie team still in expansion mode. For developers, the interesting part is the structure: regional teams will work mostly independently, so this looks more like a multi-studio creative network than a single centralized org. Poncle is also eyeing Italy, while its newer publishing arm stays focused on funding games rather than owning IP.
