SK Hynix, Samsung and Micron sued over allegations of "concerted anticompetitive behaviour" in DRAM market

Three DRAM giants are facing a class action over alleged supply coordination and price fixing, and the fallout is already hitting game hardware costs. SK Hynix, Samsung, and Micron are accused of steering away from consumer DDR3/DDR4 toward AI-focused HBM, tightening supply and pushing conventional DRAM prices up roughly 700% in four years.
