Pragmata and Resident Evil franchise boost Capcom's Q1 ordinary profit by 81% to $252.5m

Capcom’s Q1 ordinary profit jumped 81.1% to ¥41.4 billion ($252.5 million), powered by Pragmata’s launch and continued Resident Evil catalogue momentum. Net sales rose 54.7% year-on-year to ¥70.4 billion, with digital sales doing most of the heavy lifting. The company says it remains on track for its full-year targets.
