ReCHOIR: Contact-guided Human Object Interaction Retargeting to Diverse Characters

ReCHOIR targets a stubborn retargeting problem: preserving object interaction when the same motion lands on different humanoid rigs. The method uses contact cues and a part-aware latent space to keep hands, props, and body motion aligned across skeletons. For animation teams, that could mean fewer hand-fix passes and more reusable interaction data.
