3D Arcade Shooter / Game Design & Production
Space Cat, Cook That! is a chaotic 3D arcade cooking game created as a 10-week Goldmaster project at S4G Berlin.
Set on the strange planet Alpha Shroomtauri, you play as the cook of a spacefaring cat crew. Your crew throws different ingredients into the cooking pot, and it is your job to decide which ones belong in the current recipe. Good ingredients need to make it into the pot, while unwanted ones have to be shot down before they ruin the dish.
The game combines fast-paced arcade gameplay with a playful sci-fi setting and a strong visual identity.
As an additional feature for the Goldmaster, we developed a custom, 3D printed physical controller specifically for the game. It was not part of the original project scope, but became a fun addition that complemented the gameplay and made the experience more tangible.
The game was later selected for exhibition at IFA Berlin, where we were invited to showcase the project in cooperation with Games Ground.
