About This Project
Update: a fresh build you can download here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VwvdjxULdjYA5JxXekfLh6xN17BAVI9e/view?usp=sharing
The update features:
- A proprietary colorgrading format and a few presets included (the engine also accepts standard CUBE LUTs, which can be ran right off, or converted into the named format also having the camera settings packed along with the LUT data in order for the easy LUT switching).
- HUD customization, along with wide crosshair control options.
- Modified weapon physics, including roll feedback and motor soft-start.
- Projected headlight with shadowmap culling.
- Various tweaks and adjustments, improved controller support, bugfixes and such.
A time-killing cross-over of a Descent-style 6DOF and Touhou-style shmup, with immersive weapons and semi-realistic physics, tricks like dashes and bullet-time included. Loading times below 10 seconds, high scalability and a crossed-eye stereo support because why not. Built-in media player just to recall the DOS times.
You've been (without much choice to refuse) chosen to test out a likely stolen fighter prototype in a specially designed environment for a possibility of a long-term survival. Who knew you'd manage to re-enable the weapon systems, along with the powerful shielding device? With no other option, the AI-controlled purge sequence has been initiated. Although the drones thrown at you can not really do you any harm, the AI treats any successful hit as dealing damage, so will keep on trying, leading to a stalemate. Or not? Taking no damage while taking out an attacking wave makes the AI advance, choosing more and more aggressive tactics every time. Is that your chance (spoiler - not in the current build)? Do the drone massacre, make the AI run out of options to take it's final action, escape, become the Universe's worst nightmare… or just remain stuck here if you can't, but a good plan nevertheless.
