Each beast starts off with a random brain and pretty basic genes (they all look alike). This behavior allows them to eat food and then reproduce with the energy gained.

Through random mutations, an beast can spawn new beasts with brains similar to the parents brain.

You as the player can observe natural selection and influence artificial selection, by either helping beasts and pruning undesired branches of life.

Over time, Evolutia develop complex behaviors.
