🎮 WESTSIDE LEGACY — Looking for Collaborators to Build an Open-World Game

Hi everyone!

I'm the creator of WESTSIDE LEGACY, an independent open-world crime and driving game currently in development under Vanta Studio using Unreal Engine 5.8.

The vision is to combine the freedom and progression of GTA San Andreas, the cinematic presentation of GTA V, and more realistic gameplay systems inspired by modern open-world games.

• A connected open world with five planned cities and three islands.
• Story missions, rival factions, characters and an evolving criminal underworld.
• Driving, vehicles, exploration and a variety of gameplay systems.
• A living world with traffic, pedestrians, activities and services.
• A focus on immersion, atmosphere and performance across a wide range of PCs.

🤝 WHO I'M LOOKING FOR

I'm looking to build a committed team of people interested in contributing to different areas of development, including:

• Unreal Engine 5 developers (Blueprints / C++).
• 3D artists, environment artists and texture artists.
• World builders and level designers.
• Character artists, riggers and animators.
• Vehicle and gameplay programmers.
• Mission designers, writers and narrative designers.
• UI/UX designers.
• Sound designers, composers and voice talent.
• QA testers and optimization specialists.
• Other contributors with useful skills and ideas.

You don't need to be an expert in every area. Beginners with motivation and a willingness to learn are welcome too.

📌 PROJECT STATUS & COLLABORATION

The game is still in active development, and there is a lot of work ahead. The project already has a development foundation, but many systems, environments and visual elements still need work and improvement.

This is currently an unpaid indie collaboration, not a salaried position. I'm looking for people who genuinely want to help build the game, develop their skills and contribute to a shared project. Any future revenue-sharing arrangements would need to be discussed and agreed separately; no payment or future earnings are guaranteed.

The goal is to build a reliable team, organize the work properly and develop the project step by step.
