About This Position
I'm Max, the developer of TROK ENGINE, a Windows visual editor for visual novels and story-driven 2D adventures. I'm looking for 2-3 writers or small narrative-game creators to try building a short episode from their own story, with direct help from me.
The first goal is deliberately small: one location, a short conversation, an object to discover, and a choice that changes after that discovery. We will agree on a scope that the current editor can actually support, then work toward a playable standalone Windows build.
You bring a story fragment or a clear idea. I help with the editor, scene setup, story conditions and export. You make the creative decisions and tell me honestly where the workflow is confusing, where you get stuck, and what prevents you from continuing on your own. A rough draft and placeholder art are enough to start.
This is a voluntary, unpaid early-user collaboration, not a job or a request to write content for the engine. There is no participation fee. TROK is in early access and the current version is free before 1.0; bugs and rough edges are part of what we need to uncover. No programming experience is required for this small scene.
I will not publish your writing, screenshots or project without your permission. Any public showcase or credit will be discussed separately.
To apply, tell me:
1. What would you like to make?
2. What do you already have: writing, artwork or a prototype?
3. What is stopping you from making it playable?
A paragraph is enough. No polished pitch or portfolio is required.
