About This Position
You'd be designing the places the player actually explores. This includes deciding where rooms, hallways, puzzles, secrets, encounters, and important story moments go. You'd work closely with environment artists, programmers, and game designers so the levels are both interesting to explore and actually possible to build.
You'd also get the ability, not even kidding, to add full Easter eggs and references. (Within copyright restrictions of any media wanted to be used)
Requirements
You should understand basic level design principles such as player flow, pacing, navigation, environmental storytelling, and puzzle placement. Experience using a game engine's level editor is preferred. A portfolio, prototype, or previous level-design work is helpful but not required if you can demonstrate that you understand good level design.
