Title Change

So, since my last blog post, I worked on stuff for the game like concepts to even an actual title for the project, and so this first section it dedicated to the title change and story for the game itself. So start off, the title is being changed from Project TNQ to Atlas Stranded. Its easy to explain where the title comes from, since I settled on having a main character named Atlas, who is stuck on an abandoned space colony as she must fight her way through enemies as she attempts to escape the colony. So in the end, I felt like Atlas Stranded really highlighted what the game's story will tell, about Atlas being stranded.

Future Plans

This blog post, in the end, will be shorter than the previous two blog posts since I have been working on a few details instead of working on a ton of smaller details. This section will talk about my future plans with this project and what it means for me. Along with the name of the title being put in place, I've started fully planning out concepts for the project. I settled on a common indie game enemy, robots, because they are easy to create and animate since they're more rigid compare to a human's natural movement, which allows me to create enemies a lot easier, along making concepts for interesting enemies with unique attacks. Along with that decision, I decided that I'm going to make the game into episodes similar to older fps games like Doom and quake. What this means is that I can release a certain number of levels to start for free, which allows me to gather attention to the game, and it allows me to work on each episode and release them when I feel like they're finished. This concept is very similar to early access, except instead of having people pay for an unfinished game, my plan is to give out the game for free to start, and if they support the project, they can buy the other episodes for a single price without any of the risk given from early access.

With that said, I hope the next blog post will get more into the technical details of the game, along with showing off actual progress on the game. Please keep watch over the main game page for the project as I will update the page with new details along with a link to the discord server I have setup for people to interact with me and my future team.

Thank you all for reading this blog post and I am sorry that it is shorter than the other ones
