Hi All. I''ve come across a problem concerning one of my directx apps, in which a primary surface is created that is 640 * 480 * 16. Well, when my friend tried to run the program, he couldn''t because he has only a 2mb video card. My question is this: Should I be concerned about these low-end cards, or should I just develop for those with more video memory? Also, the memory needed from 640 * 480 * 16 comes to about 5 MB, right? So, anyone with less can''t run the program, right? Just making sure. And finally, can debug versions of a vc++ app run on other computers? Bye, Martin

Debug build of programs can run on other systems, MOST of the time, but not always.
Certain debug type linkages can''t be used with normal system files and will crash the program.
