I''m making an OS, and I have been trying to think of a name for quite a while... Have any suggestions? To triumph over enemies requires power, to forgive requires a soul.

How about Alias OS
What kind of OS is it? (multitasking or single tasking, real mode, or protected mode)

Mult-tasking, protected mode, optimized for speed (especially floppy drives), much faster and less error-prone than Windows, medieval GUI (can be skinned), mostly for servers, developers, and power users. Will eventually support the following file systems:
FAT12
FAT16
FAT32
NTFS
HPFS
Ext2Fs
Ext3Fs
Joliet
Reiser
BFS
the custom FS I will make soon
...and more!

As I said, "designed for speed and stability", it will almost NEVER crash, because the error handling code (if it fails), will reset the OS to a somewhat sane state, in which you can kill the zombie process.

LOL! Something tells me that you''ll have enough time to think about giving your OS a proper name.

I have an idea for the name of your operating system: Linux

ReactOS - an Open-source operating system compatible with Windows NT apps and drivers

but does it support exe?

There are different types of EXE. I would assume that it might
because I''ve been looking at new Open Source OS''s for a while
and almost all of them aim to be compatible with *some* windows or dos programs.

I like the mOSes one ^_^ All you need to think up for that one, is a real meaning for every letter

Or what about "better Operating System software"? ^_^

I was thinking more along the lines of something medieval.
