Changing render states

If you don''t know: write a test app to test it!
I don''t think it should be that slow - it is after all jsut a render state changing. But i don''t know what will happen if you try to change it in mid-scene.
Why would you want to change it anyway? You should always use W-buffering when possible, and if you''re doing it to test if its availiable for some perverse reason, then it should be done at setup and it shouldn''t matter too much how slow it is.
