Is there an easier way, other that having to go through the CreatFont function in order to initialize a Cfont object, to select a default font and size for your windows font? All I want to do is get my TextOut function to print text out smaller and in a different pre-defined font. Thanks!! ~Bolt ~ Boltimus ~

no. textout uses currently selected font, and you can only select something you created first.

edit: actually, there is an easier way, which is to use rad tools such as borland delphi/c++builder/vb.
