First of all who is ready to boycott Radeon? Those adds suck. Anyway, my question is this. Is there any way to play MP3''s or an equivalent quality sound through direct audio? I am going to use wav files for effects but I don''t know what to use for music. I don''t want to use midi''s. Thanks. -Greg Koreman

First of all those adds are whats goping to allow gamedev to stay here with us.

and as for mp3''s you''ll have to look at direct show for mp3 playback. its extrememly easy to use. check the sdk

Yeah, I know we need adds but I hate how they take over the whole screen. And yes, I did click on the other adds sometimes. The ones that didn''t highjack my computer. Thanks for the reply, I will look into it.
