They will vary wildly, depending on which telephone company you request a quote from. Things like that are priced extremely high (Thousands of dollars per month) and you are typically bound to a minimum of a 1 year, if not a multi-year contract. If your business moves, you have to either renegotiate or buy out the contract.

The reason they don''t list prices is because it varies depending on your location. There is a base price, plus the distance that you are from the telephone station. For T1''s, you need to be within roughly 3,000 feet of a base station. Otherwise, you''re screwed. Then, after the base price, there is an associated ''rental cost'' with leasing the lines because they are renting you space on the telephone poles. Add in an installation cost, and it will run you thousands of dollars.

This is the way it was six years ago in Pinehurst, NC. Broadband wasn''t as widespread then as it is now. You might be quoted differently these days. I just figured I''d post that info as sort of a reference since nobody else seemed to be posting anything. Not to mention the fact that I rather doubt anyone here has an OC12 connection just lying around. If you happen to though, hook me up! haha.

You can''t get pricing for those high connections because very few people use them (mostly large ISPs and the people who make the lines in the first place). To give you an idea here are some price ranges for slower connections:

T1 (1.544 Mbps)
$600 to $1,500 per month plus setup

T3 (45Mbps)
$15,000 to $30,000 per month plus setup

OC3 (155.52 Mbps)
$50,000 to $100,000 per month plus setup
