Hi, I need to create a program using either Java or whichever language will suit the problem. I need to create a program to enter some values into some fields of a web page and then scan the resulting page for some text and alert me if the text is there. Anyone know what I should use to try to implement this or can give me some advice on how to tackle this? Thanks

Sounds like a job for PHP. Or JSP, but I recommend PHP - faster to get up and running.
