The problem is that when i type somthing into it, And put it down, and up the text i wrote there was gone ... how can i fix this ? *note i create the "EDIT" object at a later stage. * after the pareth window have been runing for some time. and i use this code for the "EDIT" object :
m_hWnd = CreateWindowEx(WS_EX_CLIENTEDGE,
								"EDIT",
								szCaption,
								WS_CHILD | WS_VISIBLE | WS_BORDER | ES_LEFT,
								_x,
								_y,
								_w,

GetWindowText() displays the text in the title of a window. I think its only designed to be used with top level windows. Try using WM_GETTEXT and SendMessage() to get the text in an edit box.

You mean you minimize then restore it?
Altho i dunno what causes it...

Put down and put up = Minimize it down to the "windows-bar"
and clicking on it so i get it up again.
