I can''t help it: I love my Omega Seamaster GMT and I must tell the world. I''ve had this watch for 2 years, wife bought it for me. It''s rugged, automatic(no battery+no winding), classy, sporty, hip, eye catching and it weighs a ton and I love it. Pierce Brosnan wears one, it''s good to 300 meters, the only watch you''ll ever need. I''d be comfortable naked if I had this on. It never fails to impress and I highly recommend you pick one up. -ww

This is what I''ve been wearing for almost ten years:

Well actually I was wearing the previous model for the most of that time. The only difference between them is that the new model has that huge light button (the light on the old one was just a little LED at the side of the screen, which was worthless)

That''s funny, I also have one of those. I even had the previous one you''re referring to aswell. It''s a good watch and I get a kick out of wearing it. I definitely like the improved light also.

I recently revived this one, the battery had quit about 2 years ago. Amazingly after I got the new battery installed, the appointments and numbers on the watch were STILL THERE! Good watch.

Lastly, I have a cheap-o NIKE watch that I use mostly for running.

Let''s turn this into a watch thread.

Post your watches folks.

For me, the ultimate watch would involve tattooing liquid cystals into my wrist and embedding a microprosesser.

I can''t stand watches, don''t know why. It makes me insane wearing one of those things on my wrist. If I need the time, I look on the cell phone display in my pocket.

I''ve only had one watch, some black plastic casio I think. After a couple of years the wristband broke, and a few months later the watch frame broke and I lost it at school somewhere. Haven''t had a watch since, I either use a nearby clock, or if none is available, check my Palm or cellphone. I kind of miss it, but if I would get a new one it would definatly be metal, plastic sucks.

I stick to my cheap casio thing. The weakest part is the strap. I''ve been through 4 straps before i''ve gone through one battery (in about 3 years)

I have one of these:

Its pretty sleek. My girlfriend got it for me after my old one started turning my wrist grey. Turns out the band was only stainless steel plated. Shame really becuase it was pretty sleek as well.

I love Citizen watches! I''ve had this one for 3.5 years. It keeps great time, and never needs a battery, just a couple of hours in the sun every 80 days or so.

I own a mechanical pocket watch (the kind you have to wind up every day), but I don´t carry it... I guess I don´t need watches.
