Our project is almost entirely in C but I have one file which provides a "C" interface to a c++ class. Inside this file I call out to a C function in another .c file. The linker is giving me an error in spite of the fact that the .h file containing that prototype has an extern "C" around it.
error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "struct SoundFileInfo * __cdecl SoundGetFileInf(int)" (?SoundGetFileInf@@YAPAUSoundFileInfo@@H@Z) referenced in function _load_sound
Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I am fresh out of ideas. This .cpp file references all sorts of other C functions from other files but for some reason it''s choking on mine!
Thanks.
