BSP and LOD tutorials

i just started looking into BSP and some LOD turorials/ or articles explaning them. If any 1 has any good articles on the topics of BSP and LOD would be very helpfull as finding information on the topic is not so easy, ecpesially getting articles that are clear and easy to understand with out to much technical jargon thanks

www.gametutorials.com has three (i think) tutorials going over loading and rendering Quake3 BSP files with OpenGL, try www.planethalflife.com/botman for tools (with source) for loading and rendering Half-Life BSPs.
