He was talking about 1.3 final, why would someone download 1.3b? For what it''s work, 1.3b is fine for me (built for GTK+ 2 in *nix, used through the CVS version of Galeon 1.3).

Please. Opera is the most anal browser on the planet, and you have to pay.

Internet Explorer is my favorite. Yeah opera kind of stinks, those "gestures" annoy the hell out of me.
1.3a sucked bad. It crashed all the time on me.
1.3b has worked fine since I got it.
1.3 finished and refuses to install correctly on my computer, from what looks to be a bug in the installer. So I''m still with 1.3b, which has never goofed up on me since I got it.
- This is a rehearsal for all the empty promises I will be

You can get gestures for Mozilla too.
I can't stand IE. No tabbed browsing, pop-ups, and it spies on you (keeps a hidden history folder that never gets cleared).
Edit: for the hidden folder, append Content.IE5\ to the end of your Temp Files or History path. The folder is hidden from the search feature and DOS dir command by the desktop.ini file in it. If you delete the file, it will be re-made next time you restart your computer.

I was at my girlfriends too... and I didn''t wet my pants over Mozilla 1.3.
I am afraid it is not that exciting.

Too bad this new Mozilla still doesn't have a feature I really wanted: block ANY FILE from a server (not only images). I can't stand these *.js advertising thingies on some forums (you know, the kind of thing that follows you if you scroll, slowing down the scrolling process).

For the record, Opera sucks bad. Mozilla is nice, although I tend to use IE most of the time.

Microsoft''s Really Hidden Files
*yawn*
Considering that the SUPAR SEKRIT files it talks about are plainly visible in explorer, I''m not too worried.

By chance are you running W98? My brother reported installation problems too and he''s running W98. I''m running W2K and didn''t have any installation problems at all. So far 1.3 has worked like a charm for me.
