Or is it sad that any given person can list off the names of a hundred famous people who''ve really accomplished little in the grand scheme of things but not those in important positions of their respective governments.

I was in Vegas during thanksgiving looking at the $1500 clothes at Gucci and Jennifer Lopez walks in with her security attache and kicked me out.

I went to school with george lucas's daughters and met him once. I know that guy on those annoying "Men's Warehouse" commercials (I dont know if its a local store or not but hes filthy damned rich). My (insanely rich) friend lived across the street from GreenDay (the band).

Thats about it.

EDIT: I also got a hug once from Deborah Messinger or whatever the name of the actress in the TV show "Will and Grace" is.

I served Meg Ryan and Jeff Bridges at the movie theator. Said "hi" to Jane Fonda and she was a b**tch so told her so. Also, Tony Hawk and his team Birdhouse came and skateboarded on my halfpipe(Tony sprained his ankle). I met Alex Lowe(the mountaineer) as well before he died. Man a lot of celebrities living in my little town...

EDIT: Not really direct, but I've heard a few stories about things that happened in class.


EDIT: In grade 6, there was a computer conference in downtown Calgary, and I skipped school to go. As it turned out everyone who had signed up was entered in a draw, I won the draw (for 200 hundred dollars). I got a handshake from george lucas, and then sat and listened to him give a really cool lecture on CG special effects for about an hour.
