I want to do a simple custom installer for my program. I know there are all kinds of free ones but I want to program one myself. The only part of it I''m not sure about is adding my program to the uninstall list in Windows. Is it something in the registry I need to add?

It's in the registry, I think in HKLM...

HKLM\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Add a new entry, give it a unique name, like a UUID.

That key should have "DisplayName" (SZ) and "UninstallString" (SZ).
