You need a credit card to put money in it. Or have someone pay your account. There is no other way. Why''d you make one if you didn''t have a CC?

I''ve never shopped/sold things at eBay, but I have too much junk around the house, so I might start this week. It''s going to require a Paypal account, yet no one I know uses it.

Can you tell me the process of setting it up? Is it troublesome? How do you like it?

You HAVE to use a credit card?! You can''t write cheques to them?

PAYPAL is satan''s little helper. I hate ''em, too bad they are popular otherwise I wouldn''t use, em, but too bad, just like windows, I wasz forxced to join the club.

I don''t believe you can write checks to them. Unless they have changed some of their policies, you can only use a Credit Card.

You can have paypal transfer funds from your bank account into your paypal account. EDIT: ...and vise versa...

Rentacoder I''ve only used RAC once. I got payed, but they hold your money for like a month before you get it.
Also, try Webhostingtalk.com Thats another forum, look for the "Related Offers & Requests" and "Job offers and requests" subforums for work/stuff/projects/whatever...

you can make an online store and have people pay the money to your PayPal account. Of course, you would need something to sell. No one is just going to *give* you money for no reason.

There''s a surprising number of ''give me money, I''m poor'' sites to refute that idea. And people actually do make money off of that. There''s a sucker born every minute.

To the OP, see if your bank offers a credit card that draws from your chequing account -- credit cards are evil, so that''s what I use. That way, I can''t spend money I don''t have.

If you are receiving money, I''d recommend frequenly transferring it to a bank account. Paypal has been known to ''lose'' people''s money from time to time...
