sequels

Ive noticed alot of sequals coming out latly and am wonderin how you think they compare to the origional. --MATRIX-- Well matrix 1 seemed quite a bit better to me. The fighting scenes were intense, The plot seemed to work really well and i liked how it wasn''t just another epic battle of good vs evil (kinda how i saw the second one), everything was new and fresh, You kept understanding more and more until the end. There were just sooooooooooooo many interesting scenes, I absolutlyt never lost intrest. The hallway fight, the morpheus fight, and the whole training thing was amazing. Matrix 2 seemed worse, but i know i will like it better once i see it again, and possibly once i see #3, unless that turns into a dissapointment, but i will still love the first one, it just stands well on its own. 3/4 of the movie seemed dull and pointless (well except maybe a bit), and the last quarter was like having a million tonne wait of things to think about on your shoulders. The fighting scenes were horrid compared to the first one. The amount i end up liking this one is highly dependant on #3. My vote: the origional --X-MEN-- #1 seemed kindov ineresting but mostly just as somthing that intaduces ideas that are further developed by the second one. Its not exactly somthing you need to see over and over. #2 was enjoyable because of the dark and twisted plot. The thing I love most about X-Men is how there is not really a good and evil, but just a bunch of people with different views that are all things you can relate too, and this was really well showed by the second one. The worst part was how long the ending dragged for. --HARRY POTTER-- #1 was pretty bad, far too happy, and no real plot (or at least nothing interesting) the secod although neither being a masterpice was actually well done. The plot did have some unexpected twists and it did an awesome job of making you despise that defence against dark arts guy. Both movie are stuffed with cheasy lines but you come to expect that. --LORD OF THE RINGS-- i cant do this one because to me its all one movie, but an awesome one none the less.
