I was wondering how you would get an object that you''ve animated and rendered in a modelling program already into a game, all that is needed is placement. Would this method cut down signifcantly on processing power being used or would it make much of a difference? For a game i''m in the early stages of making i''m wanting to have a lot of animated objects in the rooms, to give it a feeling like it''s alive but rendering it from the engine seems like it would hurt performance tremendously. Thanks for any response.

Hmm, animated textures, sprites, animated billboards, volume rendering, etc. Depends on what exactly you are looking for. Some more details about what you are trying to achieve would be helpful.

Thanks for the reply Yann. What i''m wanting to do is import a 3d model i made with an animation of it. The model is a glass flask and it has a particle emmitter emmitting something like bubbles. instead of doing a particle engine in the game engine, is it possible to do it this way?
