I have been running my program in debug mode in vc++7, and it works fine. but when I switch to release, it gives me a bunch of link errors, like when I forget to link in a library or something. I checked the help file and it had a whole section on fixing errors when going from debug to release. but none helped me. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions... thanks ----------------------------------------- when all else fails... crack open a cold one.

do you link in libraries? If you add libraries in the visual studio project settings, by default the changes only apply to the current profile(which would have been debug). Set the profile to release and add in your libraries.

If that''s not it you''ll have to be more specific about your problem(include error messages, post relevant code snippets, etc)

Thats quite common if you type in the names of the additional libraries in the properties for the build settings (which is better than hard coding the path by adding the actual library file to the project view). Are you using opengl or directx or somehting?
