Hi, im sure this is just something stupid, but I cant get the combo box to display the list of items it has. I add items to the combo box:
SendDlgItemMessage(hWnd,IDC_FILEFILTERCOMBO,CB_ADDSTRING,0,(LPARAM)"All Files");
And I can cycle through them by using the arrow keys, but if I try to get the drop down box to appear, it is only about 2 pixels wide and mostly black. Any ideas as to what the problem is? Thanks. (Im using winXP, MSVC6.0, and the resource editor)

Hi.
In the control editor, if your combo is manually and statically put down onto your window, try to set its size by clicking the drop-down list and draggin it to the bottom. My explanation isnt very clear because Im quite in a hurry but hover the cursor over the combo while editing it and it should swith to a kind of resize cursor. Else www.codeproject.com should help you much for using VC++ and each of its controls.
Hope Ive been useful.
