Has anyone else around here seen this movie? It''s pretty cool, the music and graphics rock. And the story reminds me of the Terrans in StarCraft... What do you give it rating wise? Like from a rating of 1 to freekin cool. What would you give it? I''m *thinking* of watching it.

I saw Titan A.E., and IMHO, it kinda sucked. It was nothing more than a poorly developed children''s movie. However, I also saw Gladiator this weekend with my old man, and that movie was awesome. The ending in incredible...sad, but happy in some way...very good...left me in a trance after it was finished thinking about what I had just seen. Definetly 4 stars, go and see it. Saving Private Ryan was just a tad better, but Gladiator is definetly worth seeing!

I wouldn''t say that Titan AE is freakin cool, but it''s cool enough. The Drej reminded me of an adventure game I wanted to create a long time ago.

If you''re into:

1. Cool music
2. Great special effects
3. Story
4. Science Fiction
5. The Terrans in StarCraft

Then you''ll probably like the movie. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it an 8 (to help you figure it out, I give the first Mission Impossible a 6. Got it?).

I loved it, the music fits perfectly, the graphics kick much booty, and the story is pretty good, sort of sterotypical, but from all the right movies. It''s a good see, I reccommend it. It is worth the money, especially if you go to an early showing and get the discount tickets for whatever how much they are! Go see it!

Let''s not start a flame war over this. I''m just saying that Titan AE is cool, not that it''s better than Gladiator or Mi2.

* Finally figures out why they call it "icing" a thread *

The music was great and they did a good job blending the 2D and 3D animation. I can only think of a few times when I thought it all didn''t fit well together. (One was a big ass 3D spaceship with 2D people in the windows. They all looked like those big stand-up cardboard cutouts. Blah.)

I heard an interview with the animation director and he admitted that the movie was geared towards a teen audience, but that the adults should get something out of it as well. I enjoyed the movie, but I would have been *much* happier if I had seen it when I was 13...

I would give it a 7 out of 10. Absolutly worth shelling out the $20 (or $40 if you bring a date ) to see in the theatre, not good enough to see twice until it hits video.

I don''t hate Titan A.E., it''s not that bad, but it seems to be more appropriate for a younger audience. I''m just saying that I, personally, like Gladiator better. I never meant to start a flame war...

I know you didn''t mean to start a flame war, but I wanted to avoid it anyway, so I posted that to "keep things cool."

OK, to stop any flame war (or start another one) im going to see another movie this thursday, what should I see? I have already seen MI2, and I have to go with my bro, so i am limited to PG-13. What should I go see? Already saw Titan A.E. too.

How old are you and your brother. If you''re over 18, and your brother is at least 13 or 14, go and take him to see Gladiator. Very good! The gore is reasonable, and there is no sex or nudity at all. They don''t even swear in the movie! My $0.02...
