Nope not working. DNS keeps sending me to a nonroutable IP.

Try 64.118.250.198. If all fails you can try a command line connect.

tried it, but I could only access the http portion of the site. When I typed ftp://64.118.250.198/ it tried to resolve a nonroutable IP again.

Did you use command line or browser? I''m about giving up on FTP access. I''ve tweaked my /vsftpd.conf file about all I can imagine.

Tried browser, now trying commandline.

Why the heck does you server require a fingerprint?

Anyways, tried logging in anonymously--it does not seem to work. That is probably why the browsers are barfing.

Try allowing the users "ftp," "anonymous" in your configuration to submit their email as their passwords.

I just plot in the address (either ftp://64.118.250.198/ or ftp://tamanland etc.) in my browser and it works flawlessly!!! Strange...

I have no idea about the fingerprint part...Unless I screwed something up. Perhaps because its VSFTPD which stands for "Very secure FTP" and comes by default with redhat. As far as the config goes, I''ve made the settings as open as I can possibly imagine after looking through the man file. VSFTPD is paranoid. I think I''ll just write a PHP script and allow uploads/downloads through http.

Just tried it in IE--weird, it works.

Guess this goes to show how much opera sucks.
